- This is to anybody out there who has ever restored a car?
- (make that a period!)
-
- I've got about $15,000 now and will have more as time progess and
- am thinking about restoring a mid 60s 356 cab. Is this a good idea?
- I'm knowedgable about cars but have never done a restoration before.
- How much work is really invovled? I realize this depends on the car
- but I'm gonna buy one with no rust and a parts car. I would work on
- it every sunday during the summer and spring and maybe for 2 or 3
- weeks straight during May in between school and a job. Is this enough?
- How much money do restorations cost?
- (I realise this all varies but I'm trying to get an idea so that
- if it feasible I can borrow some money from my dad and buy a car
- and a parts car and start soon). Thanks for the emailed replies....
