- This one isn't quite so bad. You see, the '69 Camaro was the
- offical pace car for at least two major racing events in the US.
- In Oct '68 it paced the '68 Monterey Grand Prix CanAm race. The
- following May, it paced the '69 Indy 500. If I remember correctly
- Chevrolet had 28 orange Camaro's available to the various SCRAMP
- officals and VIPS during the October race.
