  11. There are some 'quirks' with my 93 SL1, too.  I wonder if anyone else
  12. has this problem.  The Cruise Control is loud.  It engages fine and
  13. operates fine.  However, when I disengage it through the brake,
  14. clutch, or switch it off, it sounds like a large spring is disengaging.
  15. It is very loud, and has woken my sleeping daughter up. (I'm not 
  16. allowed to use it anymore with sleeping passengers!)  It also whaps
  17. the gas pedal pretty hard, so that me be part of the noise.
