- Your desription fits not only Olds, but Buick as well. If rumors are true
- that GM will eventually dump two divisions, and if current marketing
- positions are an important part of the decision, then Olds and Buick seem
- to have the worst standings.

- Current images portrayed in ads: Cadillac is luxury; Pontiac is sporty;
- Chevrolet is family; Saturn is reliability and value (with no mention of
- association with GM); GMC Truck is, perhaps, ruggedness and utility.
- What's left? Conservativeness? That'd make a good marketing theme.
