- You're forgetting that most often, someone seeking information on
- stereo equipment wants answers from those who know more than they do.
- Very few knowledgable people would bother reading rec.audio.low-end or
- rec.audio.cheapskate or whatever. By creating such a group, those who
- clamor for it would most likely lock out the very information they seek.

- But amid the dreck you would also be able to extract the info you might
- want. While the signal to noise ratio of rec.audio is rather low, the
- total amount of information retrieved in a new group would likely be
- lower.
