  28. While I disagree with Peter's coupling stereo and all the world's
  29. problems, I must agree that a new group, where it was UNDERSTOOD
  30. that low-fi and mid-fi were appropriate discussions, and where
  31. it was also understood that luddite and/or elitist rampages,
  32. insult, denegration, and such were unwelcome, would be most 
  33. appropriate.

  35. Were I to want to build up a mid-fi system, I know what this group
  36. would do.  It would start denegrating, insulting, and demeaning
  37. each any every proposed component as well as the posters who
  38. suggested them.

  40. Then, we could leave this newsgroup to the people who feel
  41. a need for luddism or pseudo-science, and those (perhaps
  42. like me) who feel some need to uphold trvth in these
  43. troubled times.
