- Stay away from rec.audio.high-end then. I dunno about a college audio board.
- That kind of implies noncollege types shouldn't bother. rec.audio.low-end,
- rec.audio.cheapskate, rec.audio.realistic (not the brand) or
- rec.audio.normal-people may be better.

- Also, I don't think it's as bad in this board as you may think. Sure half of
- the people look down at you and your Panasonic crap. The other half of the
- people are open minded and have no problem acknowledging your level.
- Sometimes they do try to show you something a little bit better in an attempt
- to help. Often you can do a lot better if you steer away from the popular
- (ex. Sony) brands and go for their weird ones at the same price. Sometimes
- they get carried away.
