- I had a similar situation. I have a Pioneer VSA-740 Pro-Logic amplifier
- with 23 watt rear channels. After careful studying of the market, I decided for
- TEAC LX-8 two-way speakers (40W max.), which are very high quality speakers for
- the price of $100 (U.S.) a pair. They are very small, come in different colours
- and with wall-mounts.
-
- I have white ones, mounted to the wall behind the sofa slightly above
- ear level. They really blend in to the wall and don't create any interior
- design problems, but still have a great, clear sound. I so satisfied with
- their sound, I listen almost constantly with the "stadium" effect, something
- I'd never thought myself saying. The local HiFi-magazine ranked the TEACs as a
- winner over a set of ten small speakers, for the second time in a row.
