  19. Well, there is the Kenwood RZ-1 which is basically an attempt at a DC->Light,
  20. all mode tuner.  It is at least 60kHz to 900MHz (maybe higher?) with no gaps,
  21. and has AM/FM/FM Stereo/Video output (no SSB).   Mediocre sensitivity, but
  22. should be fine for commercial FM and cable TV.  I haven't tried one, but I have
  23. thought about it.
