- I'm kind of in the market for mid-line CD player. Let's say around $400.
- The less money the better of course. I always hear about the Rotel 955.
- While this is all fine and dandy, I'd like to have other choices. Rotel
- can't be the only people that make a good CD player in that price range.
- They just seem to be the kind of "in" thing right now. The same way
- that the B&K 140 is the "in" low priced amplifier to which I have found
- many alternatives. I may end up with a Rotel ($50 over my budget), but
- I really want to look at what else is available. BTW the only frills that
- I want are a remote control (spoiled I know) and a variable headphone
- jack (my preamp doesn't have one).
-
- Thanks much.
