- I've recently bought a tuner with a built in timer, to record on to cassette.
- You set the programme, set the cassette deck to record, and then the timer
- switches the cassette player on and off you go. My question is - should I let
- the timer switch the cassette player off again at the end of the recording, or
- should I let the cassette run on until the auto-stop function closes it down?
- Is it bad for the deck or the tapes to simply shut the power off during
- recording, or does it make no difference? Any advice appreciated.
