  17. I realize this is an FAQ, but does anyone have a recommendation for
  18. buying a portable CD player?  I lean towards one that can be used in a
  19. car as well, but that's not necessary.  My last one (a Panasonic)
  20. broke upon a fall.

  22. More specifically, I have a catalog that lists the Sony CarDiscman
  23. (with cassette adapter, "anti-shock" mechanism, and lighted controls)
  24. for $189.  Is this a good price?  Should I go for it?
