  18. The ultimate in getting weather forecasts is xweather/xforecast (I never
  19. could remember what Frank Adelstein (the originator of the perl weather
  20. script) called the stupid thing).  A couple of us back at Ohio State
  21. dreamed up the idea from that script, and Frank implemented it.  Essentially,
  22. it brings up a map of the US, and allows you to fetch the weather report
  23. of the area that you click on.

  25. The latest copy should be available on ftp.cis.ohio-state.edu, in
  26. pub/X-contrib.  I believe it requires Perl.  There's almost certainly a
  27. copy on export.lcs.mit.edu.  Send me mail if you need more explicit
  28. directions.
