  13. When we brought our terrier into Canada, some five years ago, all we
  14. needed was a certificate that she'd been given a rabies shot and
  15. vaccinations for the usual run of doggy diseases.  The dialogue went
  16. something like this:
  17. Customs Officer: "Who's that?"
  18. Me: "This is Muffin."
  19. C.O.: "Have you got a rabies certificate, Muffin?"
  20. Me: "Yes, she does....half a second..." (fumble in pocket)
  21. C.O. "Oh, that's all right then, carry on, welcome to Canada!"
  22. And away we went  !
