  12.     We are seeing a problem with extremely long conversation
  13. threads.  The References: line gets hosed after it gets past 512
  14. bytes long.  This causes a number of other problems with the
  15. news software and plays havoc with the other header lines in
  16. the affected articles.  Someone mentioned a patch that was recently
  17. posted to fix this problem (apparently with nntp), can someone
  18. point me to the patch?
