  23. I assumed the two likeliest possibilities (MAC and PC).  You didn't
  24. give us enough information.  I'm glad you found your answer, but it
  25. (your answer) was meaningless to me, except that you're referring to
  26. z-modem downloads.  I'm not only unfamiliar with your software/
  27. hardware, but didn't even know what you were using.  Keep in mind that
  28. Z-Modem refers to a protocol (and perhaps a transfer algorithm) and
  29. not software.  There is plenty of software (a lot of it shareware or
  30. freeware) that uses Z-Modem protocol.

  32. BTW, I agree with your stuff about shopping around for a computer, the
  33. amount of software written for your platform should also be
  34. considered.  MacIntosh and IBM compatable PC's both have a
  35. considerable amount of software written for them.  But what did that
