  35. In an earlier response to this overall question someone's signature stated 
  36. that "there is no such thing as a free lunch!" .  As for the internet there 
  37. is just a lot of "charity".  WE all share the net because some larger 
  38. organizations ( academic, corporate, government etc) have the hardware in 
  39. place; pay for the major transmission costs and let the little guy 
  40. piggyback.
