  12. Please let me know what your thoughts are of this poem.  I wish to submit
  13. for possible entry into a high-level poetry course at Boston U, where I study.
  14. Please spare no feelings for it was Hegel that said:

  26. the one i love

  28. i stand alone and splendidly i give the world my soul.
  29. in the many colors of the fall, there lies the lucidity of white, the
  30. unadorned innocence of the sunset, the garishness of evil with its many 
  31. faces, and the blood of my frozen heart which lay hidden away among the
  32. trees.

  34. streaking through the sky into the arms of whatever god sleeps beyond the
  35. emptiness of life is where my soul journeys.

  37. i sit here in the mirror of creation, an unaccompanied soul in search of the
  38. messiah.  there must be solidarity within the naked world of mirthful wishes
  39. and musings.  and at the zenith of heaven, there must be valor--for if
  40. valor sleeps undisturbed, my lonely soul will undoubtedly join the darkness
  41. that prevails just beyond the sunset.
