- Please let me know what your thoughts are of this poem. I wish to submit
- for possible entry into a high-level poetry course at Boston U, where I study.
- Please spare no feelings for it was Hegel that said:
-
- "thesis + antithesis = synthesis"
-
- So I need all those willing to respond to either e-mail me or leave a
- response within the posting. This is important to my future. Thank you to all
- those who respond.
-
- Happy Thanksgiving. I will begin it on the next page so that you don't have
- to scroll over and possibly lose the image.

-
- the one i love
-
- i stand alone and splendidly i give the world my soul.
- in the many colors of the fall, there lies the lucidity of white, the
- unadorned innocence of the sunset, the garishness of evil with its many
- faces, and the blood of my frozen heart which lay hidden away among the
- trees.
-
- streaking through the sky into the arms of whatever god sleeps beyond the
- emptiness of life is where my soul journeys.
-
- i sit here in the mirror of creation, an unaccompanied soul in search of the
- messiah. there must be solidarity within the naked world of mirthful wishes
- and musings. and at the zenith of heaven, there must be valor--for if
- valor sleeps undisturbed, my lonely soul will undoubtedly join the darkness
- that prevails just beyond the sunset.
