  19. Well, Bill, you finally did it.  You made it all the way through the
  20. training, and ended up with a special, wonderful dog!  I am so happy for
  21. you.  The relationship between a person and his dog guide is very special.
  22. I continue to be proud of my dog, I never take his good work for granted.
  23. If I do, I hope someone will remind me that it's not to be taken for
  24. granted.  The dogs need lots of praise; after all, that's what they work
  25. for.  So how tall is Maxine?  How much does she weigh?  Does she eat well?
  26. Is she sensitive and needs little correction, or do you occasionally have to
  27. get firm with her, or a little of both?  Have you worked her much in your
  28. home area yet?  It's exciting, and a bit scary, to start working in the home
  29. area, alone, with no instructor anywhere near to ask questions.
