- No, I'd get E-mail asking how I got the machine and why was it so cheap.
- I would also see posts on the net asking if I had a reputation. I've seen
- this happen when the deal seemed to good to be true. Any of these would
- clue me in that I was selling to cheaply. I've also seen people take
- one of these underpriced listings and immediately offer much more than the
- asking price just so they would beat out the scums/non-knowledgeble people.
-
- I've even seen on on rec.rpg.forsale where someone offered to give away
- games worth over $1,500. At which point there was a flood of "do you know
- how much those games are worth??" posts. They all ended with, "If you
- still want to give them away I'll take them." Someone ended up auctionning
- them off for the guy.
-
- If I thought someone was undercharging for something I would e-mail him.
- He is the only one that needs the info. If he's overcharging the people
- that would buy from him are the ones that need the info, and I can't
- mail each of them.
