- This system has served me faithfully for years. Amiga is still a great computer,
- but I am mostly into games, and the PC seems to own that market now.
- The LIVE! is still the best digitizer on any system. It is the most fun
- and comes with some great software.
-
- Also I bought but never used the following:
- Expansion Systems DataFlyer 1000 -- box and bus extender for 1000
- to hold Amiga 2000 cards
- DataFlyer 2000 - memory board, holds up to 8 meg
- DataFlyer 2000 - SCSI board, has room for a hard drive
-
- Price: $75 each
-
- I had planned to connect these up to the 1000, but it never quite worked.
- I think it is the pal grounding issue, where ground straps need to be
- soldered onto the pals on the motherboard. In any event, the DataFlyer
- cards work fine in a 2000.
