  13. I am a new, pc owner(user) and have recently bought one
  14. (clone, 486/33) with (hopefully) 4 MB RAM and 256 K cache. My 
  15. question is that is there a way (short of opening the pc)
  16. to check the cache and ram size.
  17. Upon boot up, folllowing spec's appear on the screen:
  18. Base memory size = 640 KB,    Ext. memory size = 3072 KB,
  19. 64 K high memory area available
  20. cache size: 1,048,576 Bytes. 
  21. Do these numbers reflect 4 MB and 256K?
  22. Can someone please explain this?
