- I am a new, pc owner(user) and have recently bought one
- (clone, 486/33) with (hopefully) 4 MB RAM and 256 K cache. My
- question is that is there a way (short of opening the pc)
- to check the cache and ram size.
- Upon boot up, folllowing spec's appear on the screen:
- Base memory size = 640 KB, Ext. memory size = 3072 KB,
- 64 K high memory area available
- cache size: 1,048,576 Bytes.
- Do these numbers reflect 4 MB and 256K?
- Can someone please explain this?
- thanks in advance. A.shariff.
- Note: I am using my friends account.
