  20. The licence agreement with *most* software prohibits selling or giving
  21. older versions. The licence agreement allows the purchaser to have *one* copy
  22. of the software. Once you get an upgrade, you no longer "own" the older
  23. version. You dont buy the software, you buy licence to use one copy.
  24. Upgrades are not a new licence for a new copy.

  29. about what he has done, (or not done) but attitudes similar to this lead
  30. people to put their financial desires ahead of the law and themselves
  31. outside of the law.
  32. The policing of others will not be done by any of us, but we will all feel
  33. the results of widespread lawlessness. We all need to examine our hearts
  34. (and our hard disks) and vote for an orderly, lawfull society by keeping
  35. our own reputations above reproach.
