- Excuse me if I placed this message in the wrong news group.
-
- My co-worker found this device in her desk. Can any one
- tell me what it is?
-
- The device is on a blue 2" by 1 3/4" board. On this board, the
- imprint "W.ALLEN ASSOC. C 1988" is placed on the "back" where
- all the circuit wires (traces) are. On the front, a (1.) chip (located
- on left of drawing) has logo "MMI" in a rectangle. The numbers "63S281N
- and 850IK0T" are stamped next to the logo. A white stick on label
- with the letters "WAA/RA" was stuck on top of the logo and numbers.
- The other (2.) connector is blue with "DUPONT" on it. This is next to the
- first chip mentioned above. This blue connector has 16 wire blue ribbon
- cable attached. The ribbon is about 7" long. The other (4.) connector is blue
- with 16 pins, made by "T&B/Ansley. A black connector with 16 pins was also
- found. This black connector has a soldering on connectors 20-19-16-14-13-12
- and 15-10. A (3.) yellow part located next to the blue connector has numbers
- "104 M05" on it.
