  11. Well, I need a 512MB IDE drive for another system to do some serious 
  12. development work. I have two UNIX Systems -- only need one, so I'd
  13. like to offer my older system for sale for $1300 or in trade for a
  14. 512 MB IDE drive.

  16. This is a great starter system to learn about UNIX system administration.

  18. What I am selling is a complete UNIX platform that I will set up ready
  19. for you to use for e-mail and usenet news, EXCEPT that unless you pay
  20. extra I will not include a monitor [if I sell you my monitor then I have 
  21. to go out and buy another one]. All of the hardware and software has been
  22. in use for my e-mail and news feed in the past, so I know it works without 
  23. problems. I will set the system up for you to dial in to the news feed of 
  24. your choice; if you don't have a news feed and either live in the Phoenix area
  25. or else don't mind long distance phone bills, I will offer my site to be your
  26. news feed [as long as my site exists, and as long as I get from my feed what
  27. you want].

  59.       one lets talk.] The system supports a limited number of EGA and VGA
  60.       cards, but I've always used CGA.

  62.     * Serial port for an external modem or a dumb terminal.

  64.     * Internal 2400 baud modem [I know, it's kind of slow, but I used
  65.       it for a couple years for a partial news feed. If you MUST have
  66.       something faster, you can either pay extra for my Hayes Optima 9600
  67.       baud modem -- I'll have to go out and get a new one -- or else
  68.       send me a modem to set up. I can't sell you a "shake out of the
  69.       box UNIX e-mail and usenet news system" unless I have the modem].
