- For those who have found themselves victims of some unethical and illegal trading
- practices of indeviduals on the Net may be interesetd in this bit of info. I just
- spent the morning talking with my bank and insurance company. As it turns out,
- there is a way to recover lost money that was issued as a Cashier's check for goods
- which were not delivered.
-
- Talk first to the bank which issued the Cashier's check. They may offer some propoietarty
- course of action for recovering the missing money. If not, talk to your insurance company.
- My insurance company said that after 90 days, I could file an indemnity bond (sp?).
- This cost around $50. Then the insurance company would recover the money and send me
- a check for the amount claimed. The $50 bond fee may be near or more than the amount of
- the Cashier's check. But if you're like me, I'd much rather have the amount that I spent
- for the check and would willingly spend $50.
-
- Thought you'd like to know.

- Best wishes,
- Dwayne Paschall
