  13. Not long ago this subject came up.  People were looking to make money at 
  14. home with their computer.  I have found another opportunity, I think.
  15. It involves audio text over the telephone.  I'm sure we've all used 
  16. them.  You dial 1 for sales, 2 for service, 3 for credit, etc.
  17. You can also use it to give information (the teletax system for the IRS 
  18. is an example).  I sent this company $25.00 for some demo discs and feel 
  19. that I wasted that money, but the sales brochures are excellent.  
  20. Apparently you can offer to do talking yellow pages or a broadcast 
  21. message service for some pretty good money.  It also has the ability to 
  22. do voice mail and pager dialing.  It requires that you hook up 
  23. additional phone lines at your home but I see this as a minimal cost.
  24. The name of the co is Demoscource @1.800.283.4759.  They even offer to 
  25. sell compiler lang to custom program your system.  I have also seen 
  26. voice/fax cards @ compusa here in wash.,dc but even that goes for $3-400.
  27. This looks like an interesting business that would run while I am at 
  28. work and at night while I sleep.  It will require some sales ability and 
  29. some additional investment and some advertising but I think I will give 
  30. it a try.  I've found out that there are businesses that are using 900 # 
  31. to hear about the latest gossip/facts about our washington redskins and 
  32. they are making money.  Another person is doing this for a small city 
  33. nearby so that the overworked city employees can do other things while 
  34. the machine explains about garbage pickup or dog tags for the 100th time 
  35. today.  I think I see a market.
