- I think he was asking about the Fire Protection Enginnering major more
- than College Park VFD. I'd like to make it clear that these are
- _totally_ seperate organizations. You can easily be enrolled in one
- or the other, although the proximity of the station to the UM campus
- makes it a popular place to ride.

- To get information on the major itself, I'd suggest calling 301
- information, getting a number for the campus operator, and asking for the
- Fire Protection Engineering department. The Admissions department will
- usually be happy to send you catalogs and such, and someone in the FPE
- department can tell you about the programs. You might look in your college
- library as well -- often you'll find catalogs from other large schools.
