- While watching shows such as 911 and Cops etc., I have noticed that the
- Ambulance Services and other emergency vehicles look like Christmas Trees
- with the number of domes, strobes and other generally flashing objects.

- In Australia (Victoria) we seem to manage with only 2 dome lights (1 red 1 blue)
- on Police vehicles and on larger emergency vehicles flip flops in the gril
- and maybe another two domes on the back. It is actually considered to be a bit
- wanky if you have lights all over the place.

- Are all those strobes and whatnot really necessary? Only curious. Do the public
- respond better to that many lights or is it for show?
