  22.    It's the 9th. Annual New York State EMS Conference, being
  23.    held Nov. 13-15, 1992. I've never been to one myself, this
  24.    will be my first, so I can't give any insight, but I've
  25.    heard it's been informational as well as a pretty good
  26.    time. I just sent in the registration form today,
  27.    "just before" I saw your message, so I don't have the
  28.    address or name of person in charge, but if you call
  29.    information for the NYS Dept. of Health and ask them for
  30.    the EMS Program, in particular the conference they'll
  31.    help you. I called and explained I never received
  32.    the mailing, and asked them to waive the late registration
  33.    fee, and THEY DID! It was a rather pleasant surprise :)
  34.    If you explain you're from out of state, maybe they'll do
  35.    the same. Initially the conference rate was $80.00 up to
  36.    Oct. 1st, then 100.00 up to Nov. 1st, then "now" $150.00
  37.    OUCH!!!  But they gave it to me for the $80.00, I had just
  38.    received the brochure from my old partner Mon. 11\02
