- The *only* time they seem anxious to hand-cancel letters at *any* post
- office is the afternoon/evening of April 15th. Every other time they
- give you a hard time about it. Lately they try to sell you a
- "certificate of mailing" for 50c or so ... this is a little form that
- *you* fill out and pay to have them hand-cancel along with your
- letter.

- My advice? Find the *smallest* post office you can ... like one in
- the back of a store or something and ask there.
