- it all depends on how you ride the thing. Riding a century (100 miles)
- in 4.5 hours is one hell of an aerobic/endurance workout (for me anyway).
- Now if you are talking about home workout equipment (that's what's on the
- subject line here), you can get an excellent aerobic workout on an indoor
- bicycle. I do it when I can't ride outside. I wear a heart rate monitor
- when I'm on my indoor bike, to insure that I get an aerobic workout. Of
- course, this gets pretty damn BORING, and I'd much rather ride outside
- or get on my NordicTrak.
