  12. Speaking of making money off of credit cards, how about these new cards
  13. that give rebates based on purchases?  Take, for example, the GM card,
  14. that gives you money toward GM cars.

  16. Assuming you want a GM car, what's to stop you from buying a lot of
  17. stuff on the GM card, then returning the stuff for a a refund, and using
  18. the refund to pay off the credit card bill before interest accrues?  Repeat
  19. until you've reached the maximum GM rebate.
