- My Visa card company recently sent me the offer that I could change from my
- current interest rate of 16.9% to a new "Prime Select variable Annual
- Percentage Rate". They say that the variable rate will always be 8.9%
- above the prime rate.
-
- In the midst of lots of gobbeldy-gook, they explain that this means that my
- new current rate will be 14.9%. I currently owe them about $1500, and have
- been paying them off at $100 per month. Is changing to the new variable rate
- worth it? Yes, I have a college degree, but trying to figure this sort of shit
- out makes my head spin......
- Thanks.
