- Hi,
-
- I will be moving to France soon, and I was wondering about the 110 to 220V
- transformer problem. So here are a couple of questions:
-
- o Does anybody know of a good cheap source for such transformers, mail
- order or otherwise? What's a decent price?
-
- o Are there different types of transformers? What should I look for?
-
- o Which appliances and stuff will work in Europe? I already know that
- a TV & VCR won't. Nor will electric clocks keep time properly. What
- about a microwave oven? I assume my cheap coffeemaker and iron will
- work. Anything else?
-
- o Is there another newsgroup that might be of more help?
-
- If anybody has some info on this kind of problem, I'd appreciate
- any help.
-
- Thanks,
-
