  26. This last sentence is absolutely inaccurate. While there is an obvious
  27. bias in death penalty sentencing (based primarily on the racial status
  28. of the victim, as opposed to the offender), there have indeed been 
  29. whites sentenced to death in the U.S. for killing blacks. While I don't
  30. have the formal references at hand, I know that such events have 
  31. occurred in at least Texas and Georgia.
