- This last sentence is absolutely inaccurate. While there is an obvious
- bias in death penalty sentencing (based primarily on the racial status
- of the victim, as opposed to the offender), there have indeed been
- whites sentenced to death in the U.S. for killing blacks. While I don't
- have the formal references at hand, I know that such events have
- occurred in at least Texas and Georgia.
