  24. LABORTECH 92 CONFERENCE 
  25.   
  26.      The 3rd annual LABORTECH 92 COMMUNICATIONS CONFERENCE will 
  27. be held December 4,5 & 6 in San Francisco. The conference, which 
  28. is sponsored by the International Brotherhood Of Teamsters, The 
  29. International Longshoremen's & Warehousemen's Union and the Oil, 
  30. Chemical & Atomic Workers as well as many bay area labor councils 
  31. and unions will focus on the use by labor of communication 
  32. technology and the media.

  34.      Presentations will be made on labor television, labor 
  35. computer networks, women and technology as well as labor 
  36. communications, labor solidarity & NAFTA. 
  37.  
  38.      The conference will kick off with an International Labor 
  39. Film & Video Festival on December 4th at the IAM Local 1781 Hall 
  40. at 1511 Rollins Road, Burlingame. The festival which starts at 
  41. 7:30 PM will feature the first west coast showing of "Amazon 
  42. Sisters" about union women in the Amazon, "$4 Dollars a Day" 
  43. about NAFTA, and a Canadian musical video called "Up To Scratch" 
  44. on why youth should join unions.

  46.      The conference will be held Saturday 9:00 AM at at San 
  47. Francisco State University's 7 Hills Convention Center, 790 Front 
  48. St, San Francisco, and will include guests from throughout the 
  49. world as well as labor communicators from the bay area.
