  12.   I've just installed gcc-2.2.2 on a Sun SPARC (SunOS 4.1.2) and the
  13. compilation/installation appeared to go without a hitch. The only
  14. problem is that as soon as I go to compile something (in this case I
  15. used the xv-2.21 graphics editor as my test application) the loader
  16. complains about not being able to find the symbol "start_float".  I've
  17. compiled the same application using gcc-1.40 without any problems.
  18. Does this ring a bell for anyone?
