  13. I am trying to use the the X11R4 and the Motif 1.1 along with the
  14. gnu gcc-2.2.2 C++ compiler on DEC Ultrix 4.2. I have not been able 
  15. to compile my C++ program using this compiler as it gives me parse
  16. errors in the X11 and the Xm header files. I had posted a similar 
  17. problem on the net and got the suggestion that I should probably use
  18. the XTFUNCPROTO and FUNCPROTO flags in my C++ file.

  20. Unfortunately, even after trying the above solution, it does not seem
  21. to be working. I am not sure if the problem is because of the prototype
  22. declarations or something else.

  24. I need a solution for this problem desperately. Any suggestions/comments/
  25. solutions are greatly appreciated.
