  12. I am running emacs 18.58 on my linux partition.  Whenever I give
  13. a command in shell mode, the shell (I presume) resumes the 
  14. following error:
  15. /bin/sh: [sh PID: another number] tcsetattr:  Invalid Argument
  16. I think there must be a permission set wrong somewhere, because
  17. when I run emacs as root, this error disappears.  Does anyone
  18. understand this error?
