- Setup:
- DECstation 5000, ULTRIX UWS 4.2a, GNU emacs 18.58
-
- Problems:
-
- 1. /usr/include/X11/bitmaps/* doesn't exist
-
- Release Notes seem to indicate that the bitmap files were deleted and R3
- is no longer supported -- since they are bitmap include files I just
- copied them from some other machine (a sparc 1) and they seemed to work
- ok.
-
- 2. src/xmakefile uses -loldX in LIBX definition, which doesn't exist.
-
- I tried deleting the reference to -loldX and go the following error
- messages:
-
- Undefined:
- XCreateAssocTable
- XLookUpAssoc
- XDestroyAssocTable
- XMakeAssoc
- *** Error code 1
-
- Stop.
-
-
- Has anyone managed to get this to run on a similar setup?
- I'm pretty sure that I could make a non-X version and just run it inside of an
- xterm -- but I wonder how much of GNU is R3 dependant or is my DECstation
- just brain-dead ? =)
