  14.    DECstation 5000, ULTRIX UWS 4.2a, GNU emacs 18.58

  18.    1. /usr/include/X11/bitmaps/* doesn't exist
  19.  
  20.       Release Notes seem to indicate that the bitmap files were deleted and R3
  21.       is no longer supported -- since they are bitmap include files I just
  22.       copied them from some other machine (a sparc 1) and they seemed to work
  23.       ok.

  25.    2. src/xmakefile uses -loldX in LIBX definition, which doesn't exist.

  27.       I tried deleting the reference to -loldX and go the following error

  40. Has anyone managed to get this to run on a similar setup?
  41. I'm pretty sure that I could make a non-X version and just run it inside of an
  42. xterm -- but I wonder how much of GNU is R3 dependant or is my DECstation
  43. just brain-dead ? =)
