  12. Demacs comes without most of the default Emacs distribution files.  I
  13. would like to get these, or at least a lot of them.  However, I am
  14. daunted by the idea of ftping the entire distribution and extracting
  15. the relevant .el files.

  17. Is there a way I can ftp just the .el files I need?  The "lisp-dir"
  18. package refers only to the distribution package, not to any ftp sites.

  20. Does anyone have any ideas about how to do this?
