So you would agree that there is no need for laws which guarantee equal protection to minority groups of various categories. Would you also agree if those laws that do exist are regularly interpreted to not refer to some categories of minorities? Would not then laws which state that these laws do specifically apply to categories of minorities which here-to-fore are being excluded from such laws are necessary? The problem with general broad laws is that they are open to interpretation as to whom the
y cover. And all to often, they are interpreted as to not cover those minority categories with whome we are uncomfortable.
