- This is to announce the November meeting of the X User's Group for the
- Washington DC area. The name of the group is DCXUG.

- What is the DCXUG?
- The DCXUG (Washington DC X Users Group) is an organization that
- is sanctioned by the national chapter of the XUG. It exists for
- the purpose of expanding knowledge and awareness of the X-window
- system.

- What is the topic of the meeting?

- A demonstration of GRAMMI will be given.

- Product information from Vendor:

- GRAMMI* (Generated Reusable Ada Modifiable Machine Interface) is
- an interactive interface construction tool for use with Ada
- programs. Written in Ada, GRAMMI uses the MIT X Window System* to
- produce graphical user interface software written in Ada with a
- Motif style. It employs a point and click construction style for
- specifying the appearance of an application screen. GRAMMI can be
- used both to prototype an applicationUs user interface and to
- generate the implementing Ada source code for incorporation into
- the deliverable system.

- The meetings will be held at Grumman Data Systems on the 7th
- floor. The address of Grumman is 2411 Dulles Corner Park. To
- get to Grumman, follow these directions.

- o Take Dulles Toll Road (west) heading for Dulles Airport.
- o Take exit 1 from the Toll Road.
- o Take a left after passing the toll plaza (35 cents) and
- head south on Route 28.
- o Take a left at the next traffic light, Frying Pan Road.
- o Follow Frying Pan Road for 0.4 miles and take the first
- left onto Horsepen Blvd.
- o Continue on Horsepen Blvd for 1.0 miles. Take a left
- onto Dulles Corner Lane.
- o Take a right into the parking garage.
- o Please park on the first floor. The only doors that will
- allow access to the building will be the doors on the
- first floor parking level.
- o Once inside the building go through the double doors
- into the main lobby. Use the elevators to get to the
- fifth floor for the meeting. The meeting will be in the
- Grumman cafeteria.
