- it's true. if you seemed concerned, Sun recommended OLIT.
- personally, i'd rather not do UI programming but i have
- learned to use XView (reasonable task for any programmer
- to learn menus and panels) because i am doing graphics.
- it's too bad. i think Sun has done OK for me. i've built
- around a dozen panels using XView and Sun freezing XView
- is fine as long as they ship it with their window system.
- i'd guess from the announcement that XView will be shipped
- with their window system for at least 3 years and probably
- longer. my UI consists of graphics windows and panels
- and doesnt make any pretense of going further than that.
- i think XView is great for such applications.
