- I WANT to help, but disk space is the major problem. I run the archive
- of xenix software on unix.secs.oakland.edu and plan to expand that to
- sysv386 software too. I already contacted Mike at anomaly and found out
- the size of the archive.
-
- My major problem is insufficient diskspace. The archive right now sits
- on a DECstation 3100 whose disk space is 96% allocated. What we need
- is several more hundred MB to do it right. As far as network access
- is concerned,we have no problem. We are T1 right into the NFSnet hub.
- So, anonymous ftp over the internet service is great. We don't have
- a mailserver at the moment, but that could be done too. Direct UUCP
- access via telephone lines could be a problem since we don't have any
- good modems--internet access took away the need for that.
-
- Anyone got a good disk, DECStation 3100 (SCSI) compatible, ready for
- donating? We (the University) are a non-profit organization. Ron.
