  14. Hello the Univ. just bought Xenix Dev. Env. ... I will install this on a
  15. Syquest drive ... but now someone tells me "You will have problems installing"
  16. ... brr ... I just bought the drives and now I can't use them ?.

  18. The guy said it's about 120Mb ... and the Syquest is about 88Mb ... but when I
  19. have 2 Syquest drives (1 bootable and a second for data) can I install Xenix
  20. then ?

  22. I also bought myself BSD i386 and this Unix has NFS ... the Xenix too ... what
  23. do you think of having one BIG harddisk running either SCO or BSD but this one
  24. beeing a server from which the other unix can get it's files when booting from
  25. Syquest (88Mb).

  27. Ex:    (1)  386 Server having 1 Giga / 8 Giga Tape ... running SCO
  28.     (2a) 386 Having Syquest bootdisk running SCO
  29.         Ok the SCO can not fit on the Syquest complete but how do I
  30.         install the SCO so that the extra files (X / Ingres ..) can
  31.         be found on the server.
  32.     (2b) 386 Having Syquest bootdisk running BSD i386
  33.         The BSD fits complete on the Syquest but the sources will
  34.         (would like too have) be on the server running SCO.

  38. (1) Can I install SCO in a way it boots from Syquest and gets the X / Ingres
  39. from NFS ?
  40. (2) Anybody used BSD i386 NFS and SCO NFS together?
  41. (3) Is the SCO install realy that silly ? or is it me :) ?
