- Hi Chaps/Chappettes,
-
- We have a couple of source and header files which include
- lines like the following:
-
- #define GRG "%Y%S%d%M%"
-
- The problem is that an SCCS get <filename> reads the %Y%S%d%M%
- as ID keywords (which is not what they are intended to be) and
- expands it to the date, time, version id etc. thereby turning the
- line into garbage.
-
- Does anyone know a way of supressing keyword expansion under SCCS?
- I know I could use sccs get -e <filename>, keeping the file out
- for edit at all times, and I am doing this as a quick fix, but need
- a way of supressing the keyword expansion to cure the problem
- properly.
-
- Thanking you in advance of any help you can give,
-
- Cheers,
-
