- The post you refer to would seem to be one of mine. Your current ID settings
- seem to be fine. The real-time issue is a long gone proposal that was pretty
- much only the DS2100/DS3100.

- If you need to add another device, I would recommend setting the CPU up to
- ID 7 and then moving the slow devices up the chain. I would recommend against
- setting anything higher than the CPU ID (that may just be a superstition of my
- own).
