-
- According to the Software Product Description for UWS V4.3, the required
- amount of memory for a DECstation 3100 or 2100 not running diskless is
- 8 MB. If diskless, the amount is 16 MB. I suspect this is unchanged
- from previous versions.
-
- I haven't used V4.3 on a DECstation, so I don't know if the memory
- requirements of applications went up by a significant amount. My
- experience with the 3100/2100 is that more memory is always good.

-
- The only V4.3 system I've installed so far was from scratch. I would
- consult with the Installation Guide, Release Notes and Customer Support
- Center to see if the upgrade is expected to work going from V4.1 to V4.3.
